QBRWA is awarding three Scholarships in 2021

This year we will be awarding a $1000.00 Scholarship as well as two $500.00 Scholarships to 3 deserving students. The officers and trustees of the association hope to continue to offer a scholarship each year to help promote and strengthen QBRWA in the boating community.
To be eligible for the award you must be a member or child or grandchild of a member of one of the eight participating member yacht clubs and you must be accepted to pursue education beyond the secondary school level at an institution deemed accredited by the Scholarship Fund Committee. High school seniors and college undergraduates are eligible for the award.
This year's scholarship will be awarded based on an Essay. All essays will be submitted to the QBRWA Scholarship Committee for review. Essays must be postmarked by June 26th to be eligible. The winning essay will be announced at the QBRWA Race Week Awards Ceremony on Friday July 23, 2021 at Quincy Yacht Club.
Essay Topic: After a year of isolation and social distancing because of the pandemic, how will what I have learned about myself help me in the future?
