The Lipton Cup Committee would like to thank all who worked to make the 2024 Lipton Cup a success.

Planning for the Lipton Cup begins immediately after the Awards Ceremony. In the Fall meetings are held with MBYCA, MBSA and the clubs hosting the South Shore Junior Championship Series: Squantum, Hingham, Hull and Cottage Park.

We would especially like to thank the PRO's (Primary Race Officers): Jillian Norris - Alpha Line and Chris Harrington - Bravo Line. as well as those who assisted on the Race Committee Boats, Mark Boats, and Safety Boats.

Sean Couture handled the food providing breakfasts, lunches and dinners. The fresh made pizza on Sunday was a delightful surprise enjoyed by all.

Thank you to the sailing program director, Jill Kourafas, and Head Instructor, Nina Meltzer. The SYC sailors performed well in the regatta and earned great praise for the courtesy on the water and sportsmanship.

The Lipton Cup Committee would like to thank Commodore Chuck Kourafas for the support provided by the club for the regatta.

The South Shore Junior Championship consists of four regattas. After two, Hingham and Lipton Cup, Dean Romano, Jr. is in first place for skipper in C420's with two regattas remaining.
