Membership Information

Thank you for your interest in the Squantum Yacht Club!

We're an active, informal, and family-oriented club that welcomes new members with open arms. Our members come from all walks of life, owning sailboats, powerboats, day-boats, cruisers, and racers.

You don't need a boat to join—social members enjoy participating in our events.

Our membership fees are reasonable, offering services like mooring privileges and launch service. We host regular Friday Night Dinners and a full social calendar for members and guests.

To keep fees low, regular members contribute a small amount of work to the club. Social Memberships have no initiation fee or work requirements and enjoy all club amenities except boats and floats, with opportunities to help plan events.

Full memberships are for those with boats needing launch service. Junior Membership is available for children of members aged 12 to 18, with special activities, sailing, racing, and a summer sailing program for kids 8 and up.

Membership Fees

Regular Membership for Boating - $693

1. Full Privileges - Enjoy all the benefits of full membership.

2. One-time Initiation Fee - $900 for a lifetime of access.

3. Annual Dues & Fees - Just $693 per year.

4. Launch Access - Easily access the water whenever you want.

5. Voting Rights - Have a say in club decisions.

6. Event Room Discount - Save on event room rentals.

Social Members - $298

1. No Initiation Fee - Get started with zero upfront cost!

2. Stunning Views from The Deck - Relax and enjoy the picturesque scenery.

3. Versatile Deck Activities - Fire up the grills on Sundays or any day with family and friends. The Deck is perfect for hosting book clubs, chess games, children's activities, or any event you're planning. Enjoy a family night out with grilling, bring your own food, let the kids fish off the floats, catch crabs with our nets, or simply set up a chair on the docks and immerse yourself in a good book. Need a change of scenery for work? Bring your office to SYC!

Junior Members

1. Must be children of regular members or sponsored by regular members

2. Ages 12-18

3. No fee for children of members

4. $15 Annual fee if sponsored by member

Intermediate Members

2. $40.- Annual Fee
