Quincy Bay Pursuit Races

Welcome to the 2025 Squantum Yacht Club Pursuit races!

Calendar for the 2025 Pursuit Races.  This year's races will be held on THURSDAYS! 

These races are to be raced JAM, jib and main only,  No spinnaker, bowsprits, or asymmetric fore sails allowed.

The course to be sailed will be announced on channel 68 at least 45 minutes before scratch start time and repeated at 15 minute intervals.
 
The courses: 

MONITOR CHANNEL 68 FOR ALL COMMUNICATIONS

Course 1:
Start between Wollaston N2 and the big orange Racing Mark.
All marks to port: From N2 to West Gut G3 1.9nm, 91.9 magnetic
West Gut G3 to Western Way R6 1.4nm, 326.4 magnetic
Western Way R6 to Wollaston N2 1.6nm, 227.6 magnetic

Course 2:
All marks to starboard:
N2 to R6 1.6nm, 47.8 magnetic
R6 to G3 1.4nm, 146.4 magnetic
R6 to N2, 1.9nm, 271.9 magnetic
