NEW COURSE: Adult Dinghy Sailing on RS Quests
This is a learn-to-sail course offered to adult sailors (18+) that are beginning their sailing careers or looking to advance their current skillset. It is recommended for adult sailors of all ages that are physically fit and prefer to engage with the sport of sailing on smaller, less stable boats. The RS quests are fast, fun, and we are so incredibly excited for this new addition on our bay this season! Sailors will learn parts of the boat, rigging/derigging independently, leaving and returning to the dock, proper tacking, capsizing and turtling procedures, how to sail differ race courses, and racing start/ finish techniques. Participants will be provided with a curriculum of videos to watch at home outside of the course to learn many of the sailing concepts we will be engaging with in class. All sailors will be in an RS Quest with a certified US Sailing Level 1 instructor.
