About this event
WE ARE STILL PLANNING ON SAILING TODAY
The rain is scheduled to end around 2 PM, so we are still planning on sailing today!
Tune to channel 72 for Race Commitee notice and communications!
About the Summer Sailstice:
This is the First "race" in the Sip and Sail Thursday night series for 2023.
The goal here is to squeeze every second of daylight out of our sailing day, so we've got a fantastic 10 nm race, as opposed to the usual 5 nm race. Scratch start is 4 PM, with a target finish of 6 PM. Join us at the club afterwards, as the tap will be open, the grills hot and the drinks cold!
Power boats are welcome to join us as well over the finish line!
Start Times:
For those unfamiliar with what a PHRF Chase is, in a nutshell:
- Slower boats start First
- "Winner" is the first to cross the finish line
- Slower boats get to lead the way and faster boats get to chase them down
This is why each boat has an individual start time. If you can't find yours, please email squantumycracing@gmail.com and we'll sort you out.
2023 NE PHRF Summer Sailstice start times
